About the SPACES...
What are the SPACES, anyway?
The Evergreen Community Spaces are proudly owned and operated by Evergreen Theatre. Located in central Calgary off Deerfoot Trail and moments from the downtown core, our unique, 24,000 square foot facility boasts 24/7 access, flexible studios, offices, production and performance space, dressing room, storage, props and costume workshop, visitor lounge, prep/change area, and underground heated parking.
This project is an innovative venture: a community-centric, not-for-profit arts facility designed for life-learning, supported by Alberta foundations and endowments. The dollars charged for use of the facility go to manage and repay the multi-year loan given to Evergreen Theatre to finance the project. Evergreen Theatre is a private, not-for-profit charitable organization.
This facility supports Evergreen Theatre’s mandate to promote the arts through instructional space provision to artists and the greater community. We offer cost-effective spaces with the highest functionality possible. Because the space is multi-use and multidisciplinary, we are open to many groups and have few usage restrictions. Come find your space at Evergreen Community SPACES.

The SPACES is home to, and proudly owned and managed by Evergreen Theatre Society. Discover the fine art of science through our theatre touring shows and artist-in-residency programs.
